Haas Highlights 2015 Season with Kimmel Memorial Victory
Finishes Inside Top-Ten in Lincoln and Williams Grove Championship Chases

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

York, PA (November 8, 2015) – Cory Haas ended his 2015 campaign with plenty to talk about. The York, Pennsylvania, native finished well inside the top-ten in two separate track championship chases in central Pennsylvania, highlighted with a sixth place finish in the final Lincoln Speedway standings, ending the year with six top-five and 13 top-ten finishes.

Haas, pilot of the Michael Barshinger Builder, Embee & Son, Inc, York P-B Truss, Inc., #11C, 410 sprint car, finished seventh in the final Williams Grove Speedway championship chase, bettering his 11th place finish from 2014. The former 358 sprint car phenom earned his lone 410 feature victory of 2015 at the Williams Grove Speedway half-mile, racking up nearly $4,000 during the annual Billy Kimmel Memorial on Sunday, September 6.

Cory Haas earned one top-five and two top-ten finishes against the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions in 2015. A tenth place finish with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series during the National Open at Williams Grove Speedway would officially wrap up the season for Haas, bettering most of the 48 teams entered for action. Haas earned his way into the $50,000-to-win main event with a second place finish during heat race competition. The top-ten performance was earned after starting on the inside of row seven.

Despite periods of “up and down” results for the Barshinger team, Haas is satisfied with his season and is already looking forward to 2016.

“Things went pretty well for us this season…we still have room for improvement” said Cory Haas, “I’m proud of my team and everyone involved. I have a great group who dedicate themselves to this race car. We were competitive all year, just some tough breaks in between. We’ll take the next few months and rebuild for next year. Our plan will be similar – focus our schedule mainly around Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway. I just want to thank Mike Barshinger and the entire crew for the opportunity, as well as my family. We are already looking ahead to next year. Hopefully the winter months go fast.”

Cory Haas is currently tenth in the Speedway Motors/Champion Racing Oil Central PA Sprint Cars presented by Hoseheads.com point standings with only one race remaining. The second generation sprint car driver finished 11th in the Hoseheads.com Central PA standings in 2014.

News regarding the 2016 season will be released in the near future. A similar schedule as 2015, including regular visits to Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway, will be followed.
