Mercer, PA (July 3, 2013): Officials of Mercer Raceway Park, FASTRAK, and Sweeney Chevrolet Buick and GMC, are pleased to announce that the FASTRAK Northeast Touring Series will return to the speedway on Saturday, July 13, which will also be the American Cancer Society’s Race for the Cure Night.

The FASTRAK Late Models were once a part of the weekly schedule at Mercer Raceway Park, and fans delighted at the close and exciting racing that the division presented. It was at tracks like Mercer Raceway Park that young talents like Max Blair and Mike Pegher, Jr. honed their skills against veteran drivers like Dick Barton, David “Slowride” Scott, Mike Blose, Alan Dellinger, and many more.

Also on the card on July 13 will be the 410 Sprints (Luxaire Heating & Cooling and Ralph Butch, Inc.), 358 Modifieds (Approved Toilet Rentals), Outlaw Sprint Warriors (Bonnell’s Collision Center), Modified Lites (Big Daddy’s Speed Center and Rock Concrete), and Mini Stocks (Eperthener’s Auto Wrecking and Ray’s Racing Collectibles). The Stock Cars (Precise Racing Products), will be given the night off.

The FASTRAK Late Models will be running timetrials at 7:00 sharp, so plan to come out early to get your favorite seats.

And, remember that all Cancer survivors will be admitted free on July 13!
