Mike Reft would have to settle for a 13th place finish at the much anticipated ‘Jook George Classic’ at PPMS- Reft Photo.

Team Fully Injected’s Late Model Division had a night probably worth forgetting about last evening; as Jared Miley, Mike Reft, and Gregg Satterlee, were all on the receiving ends of sour luck and ‘tough to deal with’ finishes.

Western Pennsylvania hotshoe, Jared Miley, spent his last two nights at Tyler County Speedway in Middlebourne, WV, for the UFO and World of Outlaws Late Model Series co-sanctioned weekend. Last night’s much anticipated World of Outlaws Late Model Series ‘Black Diamond 125’ event for the Fully Injected, H1 team didn’t go nearly as well as planned; as motor issues would sideline the South Park based operation just after warm-ups. Miley, and the rest of the H1, Forcey Coal team, will head back to their south-Pittsburgh based race shop to pick up one of their spare cars before traveling to Hesston Speedway for the UFO/Three State Flyers sanctioned event later this evening worth $4,000.

Gregg Satterlee also spent much of his weekend in ‘Wild and Wonderful’ West Virginia; racing at the Tyler County Speedway in Middlebourne, WV for the Black Diamond 125 last evening . The Rochester Mills, Pennsylvania native, qualified for the first of two preliminary 40 lap, $10,000 to win, A-mains by finishing fourth in his respective heat race. The fellow western PA hotshoe, who calls Marion Center Speedway home, had issues during the 40 lap preliminary main event with car handling and tire selections; and would fail finish in the top 8 to transfer to the 45 lap finale worth $20,000. Of the 87 entries, Gregg timed in at 45th quick. He would finish 17th in the first of two preliminary features.

The familiar blue no. 22 will now head back towards home; making an evening stop tonight at Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex for the World of Outlaws Late Model Series sanctioned event.

Mike Reft, Fully Injected’s youngest late model star, competed in last night’s FASTRAK/Pro Late Model ‘Jook George Classic’ at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway. The young man from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, made the top six qualifiers at the event, and also landed himself a spot in the evening’s dash. A fourth place finish in the dash put the multi-time winner in FASTRAK competition on the outside of row number 2 for the start of the 50 lap- ‘Jook George Classic.’ Reft, like his teammates, suffered some sour luck and unfortunately had to pit for tire changes over the course of the race. He would regroup and battle back from a 27th restarting spot to finish 13th.
