GRIMES, Iowa (July 25, 2022) – Ultimately padding the stat sheet yet again, Grimes, Iowa’s Ryan Giles continued his 2022 campaign with a routine visit to the Sprint Car Capital of the World, concluding his evening on July 23 with another top-ten result, his fourth consecutive, in the form of a seventh-place finish in the 360 sprint car portion of the program. In fact, Giles has finished no worse than eighth since returning to the 360 division after his departure from TKS Motorsports; fifth, seventh, eighth, and seventh in respective fashion.
Giles, ace of the Ryan Giles Racing, Albaugh, LLC., Iowa Barnstormers, Hicklin Powersports, Barron Equipment, Omega Concrete Mixers, No. 9 sprint car, kicked-off Saturday’s program by recording the fifth-fastest time of 32 entries, finishing fifth in his respective heat race shortly thereafter. The former 360 Knoxville Nationals preliminary night winner would go on to finish seventh, as noted.
With the 2022 360 Knoxville Nationals just around the corner, it’s a perfect time to maintain consistency.
“It’s been a great stretch for this team, and our goal is to maintain this level of consistency through the Nationals,” Giles explained, who is aiming for a first-ever 360 Nationals title. “It’s the biggest event of the year and we’re more than ready to give it our best shot. I certainly wouldn’t be in this position without my team and supporters. We have a great system and we’ll do whatever we can to keep it going.”
