Rochester Mills, PA (April 1st, 2013) – After suffering from some bad luck at the Winchester Speedway in Winchester, Virginia on Friday evening, March 29th; Rochester Mills, Pennsylvania native Gregg Satterlee was able to turn his misfortune into success and record a runner-up finish during Three State Flyers – Buchanan Auto Stores Late Model Championship Series competition at the Hagerstown Speedway in Hagerstown, Maryland on Saturday, March 30th. The Western Pennsylvania native finished second during the 35 lap, $3,000-to-win main event at Hagerstown Speedway on Saturday; surrendering the lead to Jason Covert on lap 26 after leading since lap 14. There were ‘44’ super late models signed-in for competition at the Hagerstown Speedway.

Gregg Satterlee, who pilots the Gregg Satterlee Racing, Satterlee Petroleum Distributors, East American Motorsports, JnJ Motorsports Media, no. 22, kicked off his Saturday evening at Hagerstown Speedway by earning the third fastest time during Three State Flyers qualifying time trials. Satterlee’s time was good enough to put the Satterlee Petroleum Distributors no. 22 on the front row of a heat race. The pilot of the familiar black and blue ‘22’ would go on to secure the heat race victory; which in return, would allow Satterlee to start on the outside of the front row for the 35 lap, $3,000-to-win Three State Flyers – Buchanan Auto Stores Late Model Championship Series main event. Jason Covert would earn the victory; with Gregg Satterlee and Rick Eckert rounding out the podium finishers.

Information regarding Gregg Satterlee’s upcoming schedule will be posted in the near future. Upcoming weekend plans for the Gregg Satterlee Racing ‘22’ consist of traveling west to the Farmer City Raceway in Farmer City, IL for the annual Illini 100 featuring the World of Outlaws Late Model Series. The two day, $20,000-to-win spectacle will take place on Friday and Saturday, April 5th & 6th. Check out www.woolms.com for more information.
