York, PA (March 31st, 2013) – Cory Haas continues to show valued consistency at the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania. The former ‘358’ sprint car track champion at the Pigeon Hills facility finished inside the top ten once again during ‘410’ sprint car competition; this time during the annual ‘410 Sprint Car Spring Championship’ at the ‘Fabulous’ Lincoln Speedway on Saturday evening, March 30th. Haas, who pilots the Michael Barshinger Builder, Embee & Son, Inc., York P-B Truss, Inc,. ‘11C’, would roll home seventh (7th) in the 30 lap, $4,000-to-win ‘Spring Championship’ main event. Brent Marks would earn the evening’s top prize.

Cory Haas would kick off his ‘Spring Championship’ by recording the twelfth (12th) fastest time during qualifying time trials. The pilot of the Mike Barshinger owned ‘11C’ operation would then solidify himself as a starter in the evening’s $4,000-to-win main event by finishing fourth (4th) during his respective heat race. The fourth place finish during heat race competition would allow Haas to start the evening’s main event from the outside of row six. Haas would rally from 12th to 7th in the main event, and earn a third consecutive top ten finish at the ‘Fabulous’ Lincoln Speedway.

Cory Haas, and the entire Barshinger ‘11C’ team, will be back in action next Friday and Saturday in the heart of ‘Pennsylvania Posse’ territory. Haas will be making appearances at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania on Friday evening, April 5th; and the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania on Saturday, April 6th.
