Jim Fosnaught named Best in Show at Pittsburgh Mills
Andy McKisson, Steve Lucas, J.R. McGinley & Joey Koteles voted Fan Favorites
Action moves to the Track on April 14 with Stampede Finale!

Sarver, PA (March 31, 2013) The cars and stars of Fab Four Racing moved south to the sprawling Galleria at Pittsburgh Mills this weekend for the second of two car shows to wrap up the 2013 Lernerville Pre-Season. Once again, the Sportsman/Stocks stole the show as 2012 Budweiser Point standings runner-up Jim Fosnaught was named Best in Show by a panel of track officials and media members and there was an absolute slugfest in the division’s Fan Favorite voting on our Facebook pages.

PPMS driver Joey Koteles scored a narrow victory over Bob Schwartzmiller 222-207, while AJ Flick came in a close third with over 180 likes; likes were tallied by combining those on our profile and fan pages. Fosnaught himself had over 150 votes and Brett McDonald received over 130 likes; enough to have won in a landslide in any other division! Other Pic-A-Part DIRTcar Sportsman/Stock cars on display were those of Chris Schneider, Jeff Miller, John McCann and Stan Riggle.

Andy McKisson was named Fan Favorite in the Peoples TWP Sprints. Carl Bowser and Dennis Wagner joined us at the Mills for round two after having supported the show at Clearview last weekend as well!

Steve Lucas has traded in his wings for fenders and he was tabbed Fan Favorite in the Precise Late Models. Mike Pegher and Jeremy Adamik supported the show again this weekend and were joined by Sportsman/Stock veteran Shawn Thorn who will be moving into the Precise Late Model ranks this season! J.R. McGinley was the only Diehl Modified in attendance and, as such, was a ringer for Fan Favorite.

As always there were a plethora of support division cars including Enduros, Micro-Sprints, Go-Karts and a pair of Vintage Modifieds rebuilt and put on display by the brothers Stivenson; Roger and Randy!

As mentioned above, with the exodus of cars from the Pittsburgh Mills after business concluded Saturday Night, the 2013 Lernerville Pre-Season has officially come to a close and the time is rapidly approaching that the Action will be moving to the Track!

It all begins with the Test & Tune practice session of Saturday, April 13 and the Finale of the 2012 DIRTcar Round Up Steel City Stampede on Sunday, April 14. The Test & Tune Practice session is open to cars from all divisions, regardless of participation of the Steel City Stampede Finale on Sunday. While the starting lineups are set for the B-Mains and qualifiers are already locked into A-Mains, new cars may register to compete in the DIRTcar Round Up Steel City Stampede Finale. With the 2013 Fab Four Racing season right around the corner, (Opening Night is Friday, April 19!), it’s time to log on to www.FantasyDirtRacing.com and join the Fantasy Fab Four Racing League! Prizes for the top five in season ending points include tickets to the World of Outlaws Commonwealth Clash in September, DIRTcar Round Up Steel City Stampede in October and tickets to Fab Four Racing in 2014!
