Gregg Satterlee Ready To Swing With The Outlaws This Weekend!

Rochester Mills, PA – 8/22/12 – Rochester Mills, Pennsylvania native and regional super late model hotshoe, Gregg Satterlee, is ready for a full weekend of action in Virginia and Pennsylvania. The familiar double-deuce will be in action in three separate events this coming Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, at three tracks, in two states. The Western Pennsylvania native will look to keep charge in his Three State Flyers Super Late Model Series point lead on Friday evening, before treking across Virginia and Pennsylvania with the World of Outlaws Late Model Series. A total of $23,500 is on the line this weekend for Gregg Satterlee and the ’22’ operation; allowing for the possibility of a very productive weekend on the road with some of best super late model drivers in the country.
On Friday evening, August 24th, Gregg Satterlee will head south to Eastside Speedway in Waynesboro, Virginia for the $3,500-to-win Three State Flyers Super Late Model Series event. Satterlee, who leads the Three State Flyers standings heading into this Friday’s one-day program, will look to earn a victory at his first visit to the Virginia oval, and stay straight on his championship trail. The familiar black ’22’ found victory lane during most recent Three State Flyers action; earning the $5,100 pay day at Pennsylvania’s Hesston Speedway. This Saturday evening will consist of a new program in familiar territory for Gregg Satterlee, as the Rochester Mills native is set to take-on the infamous World of Outlaws Late Model Series in Winchester, Virginia for a $10,000-to-win event on Saturday evening, August 25th. Action at Winchester Speedway is nothing new to Gregg Satterlee, as he has visited victory lane at the Winchester, VA oval two times during only three starts in 2012. Satterlee will have to endure 50 laps at the 3/8’s mile dirt oval on Saturday night before he can make one more appearance in Winchester Speedway victory lane.
“We are really excited for this Outlaws show Saturday night at Winchester” said Satterlee, “We have been really good there this year and hopefully we can park in victory lane again Saturday night!”
On Sunday evening, August 26th, Gregg Satterlee will end his three-day weekend swing at Selinsgrove Speedway in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania. The Central Pennsylvania half-mile known notoriously for 358/410 sprint car racing, will also host the World of Outlaws Late Model Series this weekend for a 50 lap, $10,000-to-win event. This will be the series’ first visit to the sprawling half-mile; bringing with them a hard-nosed field of super late model talent. Just like Winchester Speedway, Satterlee has been active at Selinsgrove Speedway in 2012; securing two top five finishes this season including a podium appearance.
“We had a pretty disappointing Pittsburgh appearance last week at the Red Miley Rumble” explained Satterlee, “We look to rebound this weekend and earn some solid finishes at all of our races including Selinsgrove…had some top fives there…one more wouldn’t hurt!”
