By Fully Injected Motorsports:
YORK, Pa. (May 28, 2019) – Cory Haas and Trone Outdoor Motorsports were on pace for a successful weekend in the Keystone State, but power plant struggles kept the team from reaching their maximum potential.
Despite the troubles on Saturday and Sunday, the York-native kicked off the long, holiday weekend with a top-ten performance on Friday night, May 24, at the famed Williams Grove Speedway, finishing eighth, officially, during the high-dollar Lynn Paxton Tribute. Haas has been a frequent flyer within the top-ten at Williams Grove Speedway, highlighting all 2019 starts with a podium run on March 29.
“We’ll get things back on track soon. Just one of those deals,” Cory Haas said, driver of John Trone’s Trone Outdoor Motorsports/York PB Truss/Old Republic Distillery/Bricker’s/Creekside Auto Sales/Wicked Cushion/No. 39 sprint car. “Lucky for us, we have a talented engine builder who will get us going in the right direction soon. We have been putting together a lot of solid finishes so far this year. I’m confident that trend will continue long into the future.”
Cory Haas and Trone Outdoor Motorsports will continue their 2019 campaign with another full weekend in the Keystone State, expected to make appearances at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, May 31, followed by a stop in the Pigeon Hills – Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown – on Saturday, June 1.
