Holtgraver Shows Consistency During Florida Visit

Pittsburgh, PA (February 18, 2016) – Danny Holtgraver and Premier Motorsports made their 2016 debut with a week-long campaign in Florida, competing in five events with the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions and World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Cars between February 5 and February 13. The Pittsburgh native qualified for all five main events, recording one top-ten finish at Bubba Raceway Park in Ocala, Florida, on Friday, February 5. Despite a slight struggle during qualifying time trials, the Pete Grove-owned operation managed to record back-to-back 14th place finishes against the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Cars at Volusia Speedway Park near Daytona Beach, as well as record 17th, 13th and 9th place finishes against a very stout field of Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions at Bubba Raceway Park and Volusia Speedway Park.
“We are still a new team…our trip to Florida helped us get a head start on the rest of the season” Danny Holtgraver explained, “The trip south gave us an opportunity to try a few things and feel out what we need to work on. It all starts with qualifying…we need to work on putting ourselves in a little better position after qualifying. Despite what the text results read, we were consistent all week. I just can’t thank Pete Grove enough for this opportunity. I also want to thank Cody Jacobs for keeping us prepared and ready to race every time we hit the track. We’re excited to get the All Star points season started in April.”
Danny Holtgraver and the Linc Systems, Olympic Forest Products, Lutes Custom Cabinetry, Premier Pallet, Bonnell’s Rod Shop, Alternative Power Sources, Westview Motors, DKW Transport, No. 70 team will continue their 2016 campaign with Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions competition at Atomic Speedway in Chillicothe, Ohio. The “Rumble in the Hills” is set for Saturday, April 2, and will showcase the first night of Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions points action, awarding $5,000 to the main event winner. “Downtown” Danny Holtgraver and Premier Motorsports plan to follow the entire Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions schedule in 2016.
