Trails Lernerville and Mercer Point Lead by Less Than Fifteen Points Each

North Jackson, Ohio (July 24th, 2013) – With the last racing weekend of July about to begin, and the end of the racing season approaching quicker than we would like, it is safe to say that Jack Sodeman Jr. is on the right track towards earning two (2) western Pennsylvania track championships. Sodeman Jr., who is a North Jackson, Ohio native and regular competitor in the ‘410’ sprint car ranks in western Pennsylvania, finds himself as the current runner-up in not only the Lernerville Speedway track championship chase, but also the Mercer Raceway Park track championship chase; trailing each ‘410’ sprint car title chase by less than fifteen (15) markers. Jack Sodeman Jr. will be back in action this Friday and Saturday, July 26th & 27th at the Lernerville Speedway and Mercer Raceway Park; with full intentions of earning the top spot in each track’s point standings.
Jack Sodeman Jr., who pilots the Rudzik Racing, Rudzik Excavating, Economy Tooling, no. 94 ‘410’ sprint car, trails Evans City’s Brandon Spithaler by twelve (12) points in the current Lernerville Speedway track championship hunt heading into this Friday’s (July 26th) ‘Fab Four’ racing program. The eastern Ohio native owns three (3) sprint car victories at the Sarver 4/10’s mile oval during his 2013 campaign thus far; with two (2) occurring during ‘Fab Four’ action. Only the ‘Fab Four’ events tally points towards the overall Lernerville Speedway track championship. Jack Sodeman Jr. will enter the Mercer Raceway Park pit gates on Saturday, July 27th second (2nd) in the current ‘410’ driver standings; trailing defending Mercer Raceway Park track champion and current point leader, Eric Williams, by thirteen (13) markers. The pilot of the Rudzik Racing ‘94’ has one (1) ‘MRP’ victory during the 2013 season thus far, and will have an opportunity to earn win number two (2) this Saturday evening. The Mercer 3/8’s mile bullring will feature another round of ‘Saturday Night Live!’ action on July 27th; which will give Jack Sodeman Jr. an opportunity to take over the top spot in the championship hunt. Recent results for Jack Sodeman Jr. and the Rudzik Racing ‘94’ includes a top-five performance at the Wayne County Speedway in Orrville, Ohio last Friday evening, July 19th. Sodeman Jr. finished fifth (5th), officially, during the 25-lap, ‘410’ sprint car main event at the Wayne County Speedway.
