Rudzik Racing’s First Start Since Florida Trip

Jackson, OH (March 27th, 2013) – Jack Sodeman Jr. will continue his 2013 campaign behind the wheel of Jeff and Bonnie Rudzik’s Rudzik Excavating/Economy Tooling no. 94 ‘410’ sprint car this upcoming Friday and Saturday, March 29th & 30th, at the Attica Raceway Park in Attica, OH for the annual Construction Equipment & Supply/ HD Supply Spring Nationals. The UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions will be on the menu this weekend at the ultra-racey, 3/8’s mile oval; with Sodeman Jr. making the trek west to grab a bite of the action. Friday and Saturday will consist of two full shows for the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions; highlighted by a $3,000-to-win main event on Friday evening, and a $5,000-to-win main event on Saturday evening. Sodeman Jr., who recently teamed up with Rudzik Racing for a part-time UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions’ assault in 2013, will head to Attica with plans to kick off his season in the ‘north’ on a solid and consistent note.
“I like going to Attica Raceway Park…it’s a fun place to race” said Jack Sodeman Jr. about the upcoming weekend, “We are ready to get back out there and race again…we’ve been sitting around too much since our Florida trip and we are ready to start racing again…I just can’t thank everyone who is involved enough…hopefully we can get a win soon to really heighten our momentum…I have a lot of faith in this team…so all we how to do now is show everyone what we are capable of doing.”
This weekend’s two-day Construction Equipment & Supply/ HD Supply Spring Nationals will feature some of the nation’s top ‘410’ sprint car drivers; including UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions’ former champion, Tim Shaffer; and current All Star point leader, Dale Blaney. Friday and Saturday will also act as the opening weekend for the ‘Ohio Region’ portion of the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions’ schedule. Jack Sodeman Jr., who is a former Sharon Speedway sprint car track champion, currently finds himself 16th in the ‘National’ All Star point standings entering this weekend’s ‘Ohio/National’ event. The Sodeman Jr./Rudzik combination is still searching for their first victory of the 2013 season. A win this weekend at Attica Raceway Park would not only solidify themselves as an All Star ‘Ohio Region’ contender for the remainder of the year, but it would also solidify their ‘94’ team as a true contender on a national level.
The Rudzik Racing ‘94’ team has earned one (1) UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions main event start already in 2013. The team traveled south to the Bubba Raceway Park in Ocala, Florida back in early February where they competed for two nights with the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions. Their best result of the weekend was a 20th place finish. Attica Raceway Park will be their first start since their Florida road trip.
The Construction Equipment & Supply/ HD Supply Spring Nationals at Attica Raceway Park featuring the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions will kick off on Friday evening, March 29th with gates opening at 5:00PM; and racing scheduled to begin at 7:45PM, sharp. On Saturday, UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions competition will continue at Attica Raceway Park with gates opening at 4:00PM; and racing beginning at 7:00PM.
