North Jackson, OH (July 5th, 2013) – On Saturday evening, July 6th the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions will be making their presence known at the Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania; bringing with them a full roster of regionally known sprint car talent. The UNOH All Stars, lead by Dale Blaney, Tim Shaffer and Danny Holtgraver, will face-off against the best that Western Pennsylvania has to offer on July 6th; including multi-time Western Pennsylvania winner and former Sharon Speedway track champion, Jack Sodeman Jr.. Sodeman Jr., who is a former winner at the Mercer 3/8’s mile oval, will do his best to defend his ‘home dirt’ on Saturday night, and earn a first-career UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions victory. The Saturday evening program will be highlighted with a $5,000-to-win main event for the UNOH All Star ‘410’ sprint cars.
Jack Sodeman Jr.’s most recent visit to the Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania resulted in a second (2nd) place finish during non-sanctioned, ‘Saturday Night Live!’ competition back on June 22nd. The pilot of the Rudzik Racing, Rudzik Excavating, Economy Tooling, no. 94 ‘410’ sprint car finished on the podium during his last three (3) visits to the Mercer bullring. This Saturday will give Jack Sodeman Jr. an opportunity to not only earn his first Mercer Raceway Park victory of the 2013 season, but also, earn the largest payday of his 2013 season thus far. The North Jackson, Ohio native has earned two (2) ‘410’ victories thus far during his 2013 campaign; both taking shape at the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania.
