Jamie Veal earns F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series Night #11 Victory at Fremont Speedway

Fremont, Ohio (July 5th, 2014) – Twenty-five (25) Kistler Racing Products Fremont/Attica Sprint Title Championship Series presented by KS Sales & Service ‘410’ sprints signed-in on Saturday evening, July 5th at Fremont Speedway for Night #11 of the 2014 F.A.S.T. campaign. James McFadden set the fastest time of the night during F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series qualifying; recording an official time of 13.329 seconds around the Fremont Speedway oval. Brian Lay, Jamie Veal, Travis Philo and Chris Andrews rounded out the top-five fastest qualifiers.
There were three (3) eight-lap F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series heat races at Fremont Speedway on Saturday night. Dustin Stroup, DJ Foos and Byron Reed all earned victories during their respective heat races. James McFadden would charge from 6th to win the evening’s F.A.S.T. 6-lap dash. The Australian would go on to accept the ‘Baumann Bonus Bucks Bump’ challenge and start the evening’s 30-lap main event from the tail. Brian Lay was the evening’s B-main winner; followed by Todd Heller, Jody Keegan, Stuart Brubaker and Duane Zablocki.
Jamie Veal would push through and earn the 30-lap/$2,500-to-win Kistler Racing Products Fremont/Attica Sprint Title Championship Series presented by KS Sales & Service main event win on Saturday at Fremont. It was Veal’s first-career Fremont Speedway victory, and first-career F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series victory. Dean Jacobs would hold on for second; followed by a hard-charging James McFadden who finished 3rd. Byron Reed and Brian Smith rounded out the top five on July 5th.

Chris Andrews earned his second Kistler Racing Products Fremont/Attica Sprint Title Championship Series presented by KS Sales & Service main event win of the 2014 season on Friday evening, July 4th at the Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio. The 30-lap win took shape during Night #10 of the 2014 F.A.S.T. schedule; giving Andrews two (2) consecutive F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series victories (6/13 & 7/4) at the Attica bullring. Chris Andrews and Brian Lay each own two (2) F.A.S.T. wins in 2014; leading all other competitors. The Sandusky native leads the current F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series standings by fifty (50) markers over Brian Lay entering Night #11 competition at the Fremont Speedway on Saturday, July 5th. Brian Lay and Caleb Helms rounded out the podium finishers at Attica on Friday, July 4th.
Looking Ahead:
The 2014 Kistler Racing Products Fremont/Attica Sprint Title Championship Series presented by KS Sales & Service will take a weekend off before returning to action on Friday and Saturday, July 18th & 19th; once again sanctioning Friday and Saturday night events at the Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Speedway. The F.A.S.T. ‘410’ sprinters will visit Attica Raceway Park on Friday evening, July 18th for a $3,000 pay day; all before paying a visit to the Fremont Speedway on Saturday, July 19th. The July 18th/19th weekend will go in the books as Night’s #12 and #13 of the 2014 F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series schedule.
