South Park, PA -9/10/12- Jared Miley, and the entire Jared Miley Racing operation, will stay close to home this weekend in hopes of conquering Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway for the second time in less than a month! The UFo DIRTcar Super Late Model Super Series will take the center stage again this Friday and Saturday, September 14th-15th, at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway for the 24th Annual ‘Tri-Star Pittsburgher’ worth $10,000 to the winner. Miley, a former Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway track champion, is a recent UF0 super late model winner at ‘Dirt’s Monster Half-Mile’ in 2012, and will look to make another victory lane appearance this Saturday night for the track’s largest pay-day. The Jared Miley Racing/ Colussy Chevrolet/Forcey Coal/Octane Graphix/FullyInjected.com ‘H1’ program earned the UFo/ULMS sanctioned ‘Red Miley Rumble’ victory at ‘PPMS’ back in mid-August worth over $5,000; giving the South Park, Pennsylvania based operation a perfect combination of confidence and momentum needed to repeat dominance again this Saturday night. This will be the last UFo Super Late Model Super Series event at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway in 2012.
This year’s ‘Tri-Star Pittsburgher’ will feature not only the UFo Super Late Models, but also an entire line-up of regular Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway divisions. The two-day event will feature all preliminary action for all divisions, including time-trials and heat races, on Friday night, September 14th; with all feature competition being held on Saturday evening, September 15th. The ‘410’ sprint cars and BRP big block modifieds, which are not weekly divisions at the big-half mile, will also be on the weekend card; each being highlighted with a $3,000-to-win main event on Saturday night!
During most recent super late model competition, the Jared Miley Racing ‘H1’ would be scored 20th after suffering from mechanical failure during the Three State Flyers Super Late Model Series main event on Sunday evening, September 9th, at the Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex in Markleysburg, Pennsylvania. Miley only made the tow to one event during the most recent weekend. Mother Nature was responsible for ending most of the weekend’s scheduled plans.
