Pittsburgh, PA (April 13th, 2013) – ‘The Jet’ Jared Miley visited the Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway near Imperial, Pennsylvania earlier this afternoon, Sat., April 13th, and finished second (2nd) during the super late model main event. Miley, who is a former Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway Track Champion, started the main event from the outside of the second (2nd) row, and charged two (2) positions in his familiar Jared Miley Racing, Colussy Chevrolet, Octane Graphix, Brougher’s Machine Shop, ‘H1’ to earn the runner-up honors. The Saturday afternoon ‘Blast Off’ program at ‘Dirt’s Monster Half Mile’ was the first of the season at the facility; which also endorsed a 2:00PM starting time. Jared Miley kicked off his Saturday afternoon at ‘PPMS’ by earning a victory during his respective heat race. The South Park, Pennsylvania native hopes to keep this positive momentum rolling in the right direction for the rest of weekend; erasing last Saturday’s harsh memory of the DNF at Mercer Raceway Park (Mercer, PA) during the annual ‘Chiller Thriller.’ Mike Norris earned the super late model main event victory this afternoon at ‘PPMS.’ Check out www.ppms.com for the complete rundown and full story from April 13th.
Jared Miley, and the entire Jared Miley Racing operation, will be back in action Sunday afternoon, April 14th, at the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania for the finale of the ‘Steel City Stampede’ featuring the super late models. The 2012 Lernerville Speedway Track Champion will start the $3,000-to-win, ‘Steel City Stampede’ super late model main event from the inside of the fifth (5th) row in the ninth (9th) position. Miley earned six (6) main event victories at the Lernerville Speedway during his 2012 campaign; making him a true favorite to win the 2013 ‘Steel City Stampede.’ Only consolations and features will be contested on Sunday afternoon at the world-famous Sarver, PA 4/10’s mile oval. All preliminary action was completed during the event’s originally scheduled weekend back in October of 2012.
