Joe Martin Finishes Second in First Start of 2013 Season at PPMS
Heads to Lernerville Speedway on Sunday, April 14th

Pittsburgh, PA (April 13th, 2013) – Joe Martin earned his first crate late model main event podium finish of the 2013 season on Saturday afternoon, April 13th, at the Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The Ringgold, Pennsylvania native finished second (2nd) in the RUSH Late Model main event; charging eight positions from the outside of the fifth row to take the runner-up honors. Joe Martin, who pilots the Joe Martin Motorsports (JM2 Motorsports), Extreme Plastics Plus, Allegheny Crane Rental, George Washington Hotel, Spartan Thru Tubing, no. 55 crate late model, started his afternoon at ‘Dirt’s Monster Half Mile’ by finishing third (3rd) in his respective crate late model heat race. Kyle Lukon was the RUSH Late Model feature winner over the twenty-tw0 (22) entrants. Joe Martin, and JM2 Motorsports, will be back in action on Sunday afternoon, April 14th, at the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania. The ‘Steel City Stampede’ will headline the Lernerville Speedway schedule on Sunday; complete with nine divisions of action including the crate late models of the FASTRAK Sweeney Cars Northeast Touring Division. Martin is scheduled to start twentieth (20th) in Sunday’s ‘Steel City Stampede’ FASTRAK Northeast main event. Sunday’s program will consist of consolations and features only for all divisions.
