Jared Miley Set for Lernerville Opener!
Former Track Champ Looks to Open Year with Victory

Pittsburgh, PA (April 14th, 2015) – After losing the annual ULMS ‘Chiller Thriller’ at Mercer Raceway Park to ‘Mother Nature,’ ‘The Jet’ Jared Miley will move ahead and officially launch his 2015 season this Friday evening, April 17th at the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania. Miley, pilot of the Jared Miley Racing, Colussy Chevrolet, Octane Graphix, Brougher’s Machine Shop, Hoosier Tire Mid-Atlantic, Schaeffer’s Racing Oil, no. H1 super late model, will venture to ‘The Action Track’ this Friday night to help kick start Lernerville Speedway’s 2015 season. The former Lernerville Speedway track champion earned three victories at the Sarver dirt oval during ‘Fab Four’ competition in 2014, and hopes to initiate his new season with a trip back to ‘Sheetz Victory Lane’ on April 17th. This Friday will be the 2015 season opener for Lernerville Speedway.
“We are ready to race” explained Matt Miley; crew chief for the JMR H1, “We were supposed to start our year at Mercer, but that obviously didn’t happen…the weather has been our worst enemy lately…hopefully things clear out and we can get a few weeks of racing in without any issues…we’ve always had our share of success at Lernerville…we like going there and it’s pretty close to our shop in the south hills…like previous years, we’ll be at Lernerville on most Fridays.”
Jared Miley’s upcoming schedule is still undetermined at this point. ‘The Jet’ hopes to make appearances with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series next Friday and Saturday, April 24th & 25th in southwestern Pennsylvania and northern Maryland. The potential plan is to join the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series at the Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex in Markleysburg, Pennsylvania on Friday, April 24th, followed by a reappearance with the series on Saturday night, April 25th at the Hagerstown Speedway in Hagerstown, Maryland.
“We don’t really have a game plan yet, but we have some things in mind” explained Miley, “Roaring Knob and Hagerstown are potential plans…a lot of factors will go into that…we’ll see how Lernerville goes this Friday and go from there.”
