Jared Miley Sweeps Recent Weekend; Conquerors Western Pennsylvania
Marion Center Speedway Appearance Up Next for JMR

Pittsburgh, PA (July 20th, 2015) – Western Pennsylvania’s own Jared Miley conquered super late model competition during the recent weekend; earning three consecutive victories at three different western Pennsylvania venues. ‘The Jet,’ who now has five total victories in 2015, two during crate competition and three during super late model competition, swept recent action at Lernerville Speedway, Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway and Dog Hollow Speedway. Miley ended the weekend by earning the ‘Connor Bobik Memorial’ title at Dog Hollow Speedway worth $3,000.
“We needed a weekend like that” said Jared Miley, “We have some things figured out right now. My entire team works really hard and that is starting to pay off. When you start to win some races, you’re able to build some momentum as well as some confidence and that is a great combination with any race team. We had some hauler issues on Saturday night at Pittsburgh so we weren’t even sure if we were going to make it to Dog Hollow Speedway on Sunday. I’m glad we could get there.”
Jared Miley kicked off the recent weekend with a victory at the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania on Friday night, July 17th. The former Lernerville Speedway super late model track champion earned a ‘Fab Four’ victory on Friday night at ‘The Action Track.’ It was Miley’s second late model victory at Lernerville Speedway in 2015 and his first during super late model competition. ‘The Jet’ earned a RUSH crate victory at the Sarver oval earlier this season.
Miley visited Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway on Saturday evening, July 18th for the annual ‘Herb Scott Memorial.’ The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native conquered the $3,000-to-win main event at his ‘home track’ on Saturday night; his first super late model victory at ‘Dirt’s Monster Half-Mile’ in 2015. Like Lernerville Speedway, Miley is a former track champion at the Imperial, Pennsylvania venue.
The Jared Miley Racing, Colussy Chevrolet, Octane Graphix, Brougher’s Machine Shop, Hoosier Tire Mid-Atlantic, Schaeffer’s Racing Oil, Sunoco Race Fuels, Rocket Chassis, ‘H1’ team ended their recent three race stretch at the Dog Hollow Speedway in Strongstown, Pennsylvania on Sunday evening, July 19th. The annual ‘Connor Bobik Memorial’ was on tap at the Indiana County venue; highlighted with a $3,000-to-win, UFo Super Late Model sanctioned main event. Jared Miley continued his recent dominance on Sunday night by charging forward from an eighth place starting position to with the ‘3K.’ ‘The Jet’ took command of the field by lap three.
“It was a good night for us” said Miley, “The track was right where it needed to be for us and we were able to take advantage of that. Hopefully we can keep this streak going. This is the best we’ve felt all year. It took us a while to get that first super late model win of the year, but the first win is always the hardest. We’ll keep moving forward and work to get up front on Saturday at Marion Center.”
Up next on the tentative Jared Miley Racing schedule is a visit to the Marion Center Speedway in Marion Center, Pennsylvania on Saturday night, July 25th. The ULMS Racing Series will be visiting the 1/4-mile bullring on Saturday night featuring a $2,000-to-win super late model program. Miley is a former main event winner at Marion Center Speedway. July 25th will be Miley’s first visit to the short track in 2015.
