PARSONS, Kan. (June 20, 2022) – JJ Loss and JKL Racing put together an impressive display during their recent weekend of competition, capping the highly sought-after Highbanks Hustle blockbuster at Southern Illinois Raceway in Marion, Illinois, with an A-Main appearance, bettering most of the 95 Winged A-Class entries in attendance.

Loss, driver of the Next Level Signs and Graphics Co., Driven Midwest, Journey Transport, White Pine Paving, Ryan Wilson, CSI, Keizer Performance Wheels, Radical Race Gear, No. 67 micro, utilized heat race and qualifier victories to seal his spot in Saturday’s A-Main, good enough to start seventh on the feature grid. Unfortunately, the youngster out of Parsons, Kansas, had to retire early, forced to conclude his feature campaign after steering issues forced Loss into the outside retaining wall; he was scored 13th.

Despite the frustrating ending, Loss and his family-owned operation have much to be proud of, as the Highbanks Hustle is the largest event Loss has ever qualified for, earning a record payday in the process.

“We have a lot to be proud of,” Loss said. “I wouldn’t be in this position if it wasn’t for my family and partners. We were up against the best at Southern Illinois Raceway and we were able to prove that we were one of the best there. This will give us the momentum and confidence we need to be successful this weekend at Port City.”

As expressed, JJ Loss and JKL Racing will continue their 2022 micro campaign with the 11th Annual Donnie Ray Crawford [DRC] Memorial at Port City Raceway in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on Thursday through Saturday, July 23-25.

JJ Loss and JKL Racing would like to thank all of their primary and product partners including Next Level Signs and Graphics Co., Driven Midwest, Journey Transport, White Pine Paving, Ryan Wilson, CSI, Keizer Performance Wheels, and Radical Race Gear.
