PLEASANT HILL, Ohio (June 20, 2022) – Matt Westfall and Ray Marshall Motorsports put together a big week during their six-day road trip through Pennsylvania and New Jersey, ultimately capping USAC’s annual Eastern Storm with a trio of top-ten appearances, highlighted with a fifth-place result at Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, on Friday, June 17.

In addition, Westfall, ace of Ray Marshall’s Buckeye Machine Fabricators, Inc./Hempy Water/DPI Ink/No. 33M sprint car, finished ninth at Bridgeport Speedway in Bridgeport, New Jersey, on Wednesday, June 15, and sixth at Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, June 18, climbing ahead from 14th and 12th, respectively.

Although not within the top-ten, Westfall managed to record 12th-place outcomes in Tuesday’s Grandview Speedway visit, as well as in Bloomsburg Fair Raceway’s Eastern Storm Finale on Sunday.

“It was a great week for our team and I’m proud of what we accomplished,” Matt Westfall stated, the 2021 Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series (BOSS) champion and one-time winner this season at I-96 Speedway in Lake Odessa, Michigan. “It was a big turnaround for us to go from Lake Ozark to Pennsylvania, but we pulled it off and competed well in the process. If it wasn’t for Ray, none of this would be possible. He gives us what we need to be competitive and I’m grateful for the opportunity.”
