Justin Whitesell Will Visit ‘PPMS’ For The First Time In His Career This Saturday!
Austintown, Ohio – 8/15/12 – Austintown, Ohio native and Team Fully Injected 305/Outlaw Sprint Warrior competitor, Justin Whitesell, will visit ‘Dirt’s Monster Half Mile’ this Saturday, August 18th for the first time in his young career. Whitesell, who competes in 305/Outlaw Sprint Warrior competition on a full time basis, will head to Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway this Saturday evening with his 5.3 liter GM powered sprint car. The eastern Ohio native will face-off against Western Pennsylvania’s best ‘410’ sprint car teams, as the ‘410’ winged warriors make their second appearance of the season at the Imperial, PA oval. Whitesell has never raced at Pittsburgh’s big half mile oval, but plans to make a big splash this weekend, and hopefully put his familiar FullyInjected.com no. 17 towards the front!
“We are really excited to race at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway” said Justin Whitesell, “We are going to be under powered but we are just concerned with getting as much track time as possible…racing against the 410 guys will give me an opportunity to learn!”
Saturday night’s ‘410’ sprint car appearance at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway will be highlighted with the ‘Blackjack 21’ – a 21 lap sprint car feature paying $2,100 t0 the winner (plus other contingencies.) The sprint cars will share the center stage on August 18th with the super late model ‘Red Miley Rumble’ – a 53 lap, $5,300-to-win super late model main event. Before making his Saturday night appearance at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway, ‘The Man From Austintown’ will take his ’17’ machine to Wayne County Speedway in Orrville, Ohio for one night of action on Friday evening, August 17th! The Outlaw Sprint Warrior/305 division will be a part of this Friday’s Wayne County Speedway program; an event that was originally scheduled for last Friday, August 10th.
Whitesell will have an opportunity to make it a three-race weekend this upcoming Friday, Saturday, and Sunday; as Sportsmans Speedway in Knox, Pennsylvania will also host the 305/Outlaw Sprint Warrior division on Sunday evening, August 19th. ‘The Man From Austintown’ finished 5th in 305 sprint car action last Sunday night at the Western Pennsylvania oval, and hopes to trade that finish in for a victory this weekend.
