VINCENTOWN, N.J. (June 1, 2021) – Despite getting caught up in an incident during heat race competition which forced the Vincentown, New Jersey-native to retire, JW Motorsports’ Justin Whittall persevered in the utmost impressive fashion, charging ahead from the back of the B-Main to a transfer position in 12 laps, ultimately earning a spot in Port Royal Speedway’s $29,000-to-win Bob Weikert Memorial sanctioned by the All Star Circuit of Champions.

Whittall, driver of the JW Motorsports, JG Kronenberger Fine Jewelry, Mid-Atlantic Transport, Brotherton Brewing Company, Beechwood Landscape Architecture and Construction LLC, Pioneer Auto Body, Worldwide Bearings, FK Rod Ends, Stilo Helmets, Keizer Aluminum Wheels, Enterprise, Ground Blind Boys, No. 67 sprint car, ripped Port Royal’s thin, outer edge to transfer through the All Star Circuit of Champions consolation, utilizing the final few circuits to slingshot by Steve Buckwalter and Curt Stroup.

Unfortunately, Whittall’s feature potential was cut short of the finish, forced to retire early yet again after incidental contact while battling for position; he was scored 24th.

“We had some bad luck, but we had lots of speed. Hopefully we have the opportunity to put it all together the next time the All Stars come to Port Royal,” Justin Whittall said, who owns a podium run at the “Speed Palace” in 2021. “I can’t thank my team enough for their hard work this weekend. They busted their butts and never gave up. We’ll regroup this week and try again this weekend at Williams Grove and Port Royal.”

Justin Whittall and JW Motorsports will continue their 2021 campaign with another round of action in the Keystone State, set to return to Williams Grove Speedway and Port Royal Speedway on Friday and Saturday, June 4-5.
