Justin Whittall will mix 360 and 410 starts during Labor Day weekend schedule

VINCENTOWN, N.J. (August 28, 2018) – After a weekend away from competition to allow his mouth time to heal after having his wisdom teeth removed, Justin Whittall will return to action over Labor Day weekend, excited to participate in three events over four days at two different facilities. Whittall, who has molded most of his schedule around United Racing Club (URC) action, will kick-off the long, holiday weekend by doing just that – joining the URC 360c.i. sprinters at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, August 31.
Whittall’s Labor Day weekend schedule will resume on Saturday, September 1, with the Juniata County Fair opener at Port Royal Speedway, followed by a return to the Port Royal ‘Speed Palace’ on Monday, September 3, for the annual Labor Day Classic. Each of the Port Royal Speedway visits will consist of 410c.i. competition.
Plagued with wet weather, as well as injury, Whittall’s 2018 season has been unsteady, but the Vincentown, N.J., native will still enter the three-race weekend with a pair of top-five finishes to his credit, one during 360 action and another during 410 action. Whittall has highlighted the year thus far with a podium run during the URC opener in North Carolina.
“Hopefully we can put together a solid weekend,” Justin Whittall said, driver of the JW Motorsports entry. “Things haven’t been real consistent for us lately, as far as schedule is concerned, but hopefully things will turn for the better over Labor Day weekend.”
