South Park, PA (June 19th, 2013) – ‘The Jet’ Jared Miley, who finished eighth (8th) during the 2012 ‘Firecracker 100’ main event, will have an opportunity this Friday night, June 21st to earn a free pass into the 2013 ‘Firecracker 100’ Presented by Gottarace.com feature line-up at the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania. This Friday’s program at the Lernerville Speedway will feature the annual Fab-Four ‘Mid-Season Championship’ for all four (4) of the speedway’s weekly divisions; including the super late models. If Jared Miley, who pilots the Jared Miley Racing, Brougher’s Machine Shop, Colussy Chevrolet, Octane Graphix, Forcey Coal, FullyInjected.com, ‘H1’ super late model, can earn the super late model ‘Mid-Season Championship’ feature victory this Friday evening at the Sarver 4/10’s mile oval, he will automatically earn a provisional starting spot in the $30,000-to-win, ‘Firecracker 100’ A-main, featuring the World of Outlaws Late Model Series, at the Lernerville Speedway on Saturday, June 29th. Jared Miley has been a frontrunner at the Lernerville Speedway for many seasons; hoping to continue his dominance at the high-banked oval this Friday night, and earn the ‘Firecracker 100’ provisional. The Lernerville Speedway super late model point leader at the conclusion of the ‘Mid-Season Championship’ will also earn a ‘Firecracker 100’ provisional; but, with Miley currently 47 points out of the top spot, leading the championship chase after Friday’s event is impossible.
Once Fab-Four ‘Mid-Season Championship’ action is complete at the Lernerville Speedway on Friday evening, June 21st; Jared Miley, and the entire Jared Miley Racing operation, will switch gears and move their focus to Saturday night, June 22nd action at the Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway in Imperial, Pennsylvania. Miley, a recent winner at the big half-mile just minutes from downtown Pittsburgh, will participate in a regular ‘weekly’ program at the speedway on Saturday night. The Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series (B.O.S.S.) non-wing warriors will also be at ‘Dirt’s Monster Half Mile’ on Saturday, June 22nd.
On a special note: Jared Miley will be participating in the 1st Annual ‘Firecracker 100 Kick-It Cup’ kickball game on Friday afternoon, June 28th, during the ‘Firecracker 100’ weekend at the Lernerville Speedway. The 1st Annual ‘Firecracker 100 Kick-It Cup’ will feature ‘Firecracker 100’ super late model drivers, both locally and nationally known, who will be participating in a benefit kickball game to help raise money and awareness towards children’s cancer. The game will take shape at the Lernerville Speedway on Friday, June 28th at 1:00PM. Jared Miley will be playing on Team #2.
