WAYCROSS, GA (March 8, 2013) – Officials of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series are excited to announce a new partnership with HAWK Performance as the title sponsor of a new category for 2013. The HAWK Performance Fastest Lap of the race will award a driver a special product award for each LOLMDS event in 2013. The driver that records the fastest lap time during the feature event will be awarded the HAWK Performance fastest lap of the Race.

The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series takes a few weeks off before heading to Indiana for the “16th Annual Indiana Icebreaker”. The event will take place Saturday March 23rd at the historic Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, IN. Don O’Neal is the defending race champion of the Indiana Icebreaker and will be looking to increase his lead in the national championship points standings.
