Mark Burch Motorsports and Lasoski Set to Tackle 360 Knoxville Nationals
Inside Line Promotions – LINCOLN, Neb. (July 30, 2013) – With the help of some key sponsors, Mark Burch Motorsports and driver Danny Lasoski have paired up for the 23rd annual Arnold Motor Supply 360 Knoxville Nationals this weekend.
The team will qualify on Thursday with the finale set for Saturday at Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, where they won the preliminary night last year en route to a seventh-place finish on the final night.
“We’ve got a lot of confidence in both of us,” Lasoski said. “Mark does a fabulous job with the race car. We’re both capable of getting the job done. We’re looking forward to the challenge.”
During last season’s preliminary action, Lasoski qualified 10th quickest and charged from fifth to second place in his heat race. He then took the lead with 15 laps remaining in the main event to garner the victory.
“Everything is critical,” he said. “Every single time you hit the race track you have to be spot on. If you get stuck way back, the chances of you passing all those cars in the A Main is very slim, but not impossible.”
Durst Motors and Lincoln Auto Auction will be joining Mark Burch Motorsports on the adventure with several other partners helping create the unique team dynamic.
“Tim Engler has provided us with state of the art fuel injection that Steve Huggins has matched with a specially ground camshaft, which is already a proven winner,” Mark Burch said. “Our Wolfweld Chassis has been continuously providing us a solid platform for our Hoosier Tires from Jayme Moyle at Hoosier Tire of Knoxville. Downforce will be provided by Vortex Wings and traction induced by AFCO Shocks and Dave Shaw in the Speedway Shock room. Our King Racing Products Components will hold it all together for us as we make our quest for victory!”
