Mark Dobmeier of Grand Forks, North Dakota, not only picked up last night’s preliminary feature win at the 51st Goodyear Knoxville Nationals, but he also earned himself spot in Saturday night’s $150,000 to win finale. Dobmeier, who started 4th in last night’s A-main preliminary event, held of Jason Meyers and Brian Brown for the 25 lap victory. Dobmeier currently sits 7th in the overall Knoxville Nationals preliminary standings; which should put the North Dakota native in the 4th row of the main event on Saturday evening. Sammy Swindell and Brad Sweet will make up the front row.
Fully Injected’s Danny Holtgraver sits 76th overalll after two nights of preliminary action. Danny will be in competition tonight during the non-qualifiers portion of the weekend; as well as competing in the Race of Champions.
