Marks Dissatisfied with Eldora Results; Port and Path On Deck
Port Royal “Outlaw Tune-Up” Will Award $5,000

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

Myerstown, PA (October 12, 2015) – Central Pennsylvania’s own Brent Marks made the long haul to Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio, during the recent weekend, joining the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions for the UNOH Sprintacular season finale. Despite finishing 13th during main event competition, bettering most of the 42 regional stars entered for the season finale, Brent Marks was displeased with his Eldora Speedway performance and hopes to improve during his upcoming central Pennsylvania doubleheader. The “Myerstown Missile” earned his way into the 30-lap, UNOH Sprintacular main event by finishing second during heat race competition. Marks would go on to finish ninth during the UNOH All Star dash.

“I think the weekend could have been better” said Brent Marks, “Our night started off really well and the car felt great. In the dash, we broke a brake line and I wasn’t able to keep up with the track. We were way too loose in the feature and could never really recover from that. Regardless, we’ll move ahead and try to get back to victory lane this weekend. I just want to thank my entire team and all of my supporters. It has been a long season and they’ve stuck behind me the entire time. There is a lot of hard work and dedication involved – my team promotes both of those.”

Brent Marks will visit Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, Pennsylvania, this Saturday evening, October 17, and participate in the “Outlaw Tune-Up” worth $5,000; preparing for the upcoming World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series invasion next Saturday, October 24. Marks, driver of the Brent Marks Racing, BAPS Auto Paint & Supplies, Creekside Auto Sales, Fredericksburg Eagle Hotel, Diamond Toyota, Russell Heller Builders, KC Automotive, #19M, is a three-time winner at the “Speed Palace” in 2015, including a Tuscarora 50 weekend sweep. The Myerstown, Pennsylvania, native will work to continue his recent Port Royal Speedway dominance during the next two weekends.

Marks’ upcoming central Pennsylvania doubleheader will continue on Sunday evening, October 18, at the Path Valley Speedway Park near Spring Run, Pennsylvania. Fred Rahmer’s “Party at the Path” will headline action at the bullring, awarding $6,600 to the main event winner, as well as other incentives including a fast time award and heat race money prizes. It will be the final “Party at the Path” of 2015.
