MYERSTOWN, Pa. (August 26, 2019) – Brent Marks’ weekend in South Dakota and Montana was not only scenic, but it also proved to be competitive, ending his two-day World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series stretch through the Black Hills and the Big Sky State with ninth and 12th place finishes, respectively, officially increasing his 2019 top-ten column to 16 markings.
Marks, driver of the Brent Marks Racing/M&M Painting & Construction/BAPS Auto Paint & Supply/Eagle Hotel/No. 19 sprint car, earned his ninth place finish at Black Hills Speedway from the inside of row six.
“It was a pretty consistent weekend for our team. I think we were strong enough to be back in the top-ten on Saturday, as well,” Brent Marks said, who is currently tenth in the World of Outlaws championship standings. “We are pretty excited to visit the West Coast again. It’s a long way from home, but it’s beautiful territory.”
Brent Marks and Brent Marks Racing will continue their 2019 campaign with a trio of Labor Day weekend starts in the state of Washington, first visiting Skagit Speedway in Burlington on Friday and Saturday, August 30 & 31. The three-race weekend will cap on Monday, September 2, with a visit to Grays Harbor Raceway in Elma.
