“Dirt Classic” Headlines Central PA Schedule

Myerstown, PA (September 21, 2015) – 2015 “Tuscarora 50” champion Brent Marks will chase a five-digit payday this Saturday night, September 26, in central Pennsylvania. The “Myerstown Missile” will join the “who’s who” of 410 sprint car competition and enter the 2nd annual “Dirt Classic” at Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania. Like the inaugural event, the “Dirt Classic” main event will award a $20,000 top prize after 40 laps of green flag action. Brent Marks finished 11th during the 2014 edition after starting on the inside of row 11.
“A lot of hype surrounding this event and that makes things even more exciting” said Brent Marks, “We’ve been looking forward to this event since last season. We want to outperform our results from last year.”
Brent Marks will officially kick off his upcoming weekend on Friday evening, September 25, with the World of Outlaws “Tune Up” at Williams Grove Speedway. The full World of Outlaws format will give Brent Marks and his familiar BAPS Auto Paint & Supplies, Creekside Auto Sales, Fredericksburg Eagle Hotel, Diamond Toyota, Russell Heller Builders, #19M team one last chance to test equipment before World of Outlaws invaders make an appearance at Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg on October 1-3.
Brent Marks will enter the upcoming weekend with a recent top-five performance during 410 sprint car competition. The Myerstown, Pennsylvania native finished 4th during the $10,000-to-win, Jim Nace Memorial/33rd annual National Open at Selinsgrove Speedway on Saturday, September 19.
“We have a lot of momentum on our side right now” said Brent Marks, “We are as confident as ever right now and that is a huge mental advantage. We’ve been finding speed lately and we’ll put that to good use this weekend. I just want to thank my team and all of my supporters. We are in a good place right now.”
