Marks with Top-Ten at Susquehanna; Arctic Cat All Star Weekend Ahead!

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

MYERSTOWN, Pa. (April 11, 2016) – After losing the first two events of his scheduled three-race weekend to Mother Nature, the “Myerstown Missile” Brent Marks capped off the recent weekend with a visit to Susquehanna Speedway near York Haven, Pennsylvania, on Sunday evening, April 10. Marks finished eighth during the 25-lap main event, charging forward from a fifth row starting position. The pilot of the Brent Marks Racing, M&M Painting & Construction, BAPS Auto Paint & Supply, Creekside Auto Sales, Fredericksburg Eagle Hotel, Russell Heller Builders, KC Automotive, No.19M kicked-off the evening program with a heat race victory, automatically qualifying the Myerstown, Pa., native for the main event. Nearly 30 competitors signed-in for the first 410 sprint car appearance of the season at Susquehanna Speedway.

“We had a decent night, just a little too tight in the feature keeping us from running at our potential,” explained Brent Marks. “We are close, but still trying to fine tune some things. It didn’t look like we were going to get any racing in this weekend. I’m glad the weather cooperated. BAPS is a major supporter of all of the 410 events at Susquehanna this season. As one of our major sponsors, we wanted to be there to support them, as well as the speedway.”

Brent Marks will now begin preparations for a potential three-race weekend on the road with the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions. The “Myerstown Missile” will join the region’s finest on Friday through Sunday, April 15-17, at three different facilities in two different states. The action packed weekend will begin with competition at Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio, on Friday, April 15; the first point event of the 2016 Arctic Cat All Star season.

Competition will resume on Saturday evening, April 16, at the Wayne County Speedway near Orrville, Ohio, all before concluding the Arctic Cat All Star triple-header on Sunday night, April 17, at the Bedford Fairgrounds Speedway in Bedford, Pennsylvania. Weather pending, Marks may choose to travel to Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, on Friday evening, April 15; a closer start to the weekend before joining the Arctic Cat All Stars at Wayne County Speedway.

“Our plan is to follow the All Star trail all weekend, but we’ll make a final decision later in the week,” explained Marks. “The weather this time of year can really throw everyone a curveball. We’ll keep an eye on it and see what happens. I just want to thank all of our sponsors and supporters. We have a plan to race as many nights a week as possible and without everyone’s help, we wouldn’t have that opportunity.”
