FOREST, Ohio (April 21, 2021) – For the first time in 2021, Matt Westfall and Ray Marshall Motorsports will invade the Keystone State, set to visit four tracks in four days while competing with the best in non-wing sprint car racing.
Westfall, pilot of the Ray Marshall-owned/Ray Marshall Motorsports/Buckeye Machine Fabricators, Inc./Hempy Water/DPI Ink/No. 33M sprint car, will join the USAC National Sprint Cars during his four-day trek through Pennsylvania, kicking things off on Thursday, April 22, with a visit to Grandview Speedway in Bechtelsville. Action will resume on Friday, April 23, with a stop at Big Diamond Speedway in Pottsville, followed by appearances at BAPS Motor Speedway in York Haven, and Path Valley Speedway Park in Spring Run, on Saturday and Sunday, April 24-25, respectively.
Westfall and Ray Marshall Motorsports will enter the four-race sweep with one victory to their credit thus far in 2021. The result of an impressive rally from mid-pack, Westfall powered the “Bumblebee Express” entry from 13th to win at Kokomo Speedway in Kokomo, Indiana, on Friday, April 9.
Other season highlights include finishing seventh during the Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series (BOSS) season opener at Waynesfield Raceway Park on Saturday, March 27.
“We’re ready to head east,” Matt Westfall said, who earned the BOSS Series championship for Ray Marshall Motorsports in 2019, accompanied by four Series victories. “Our last few starts with USAC haven’t been up to par by our standards, but we’ll keep our heads up and work hard to put together four solid finishes this weekend in Pennsylvania.
“I can’t thank Ray Marshall enough for this opportunity,” Westfall added. “He provides our team with the equipment necessary to be successful. I’m excited to make some noise.”
