Michael Continues F.A.S.T. Top-Ten Streak
Returns to Attica/Fremont for F.A.S.T. Finale August 7 & 8

Fremont, Ohio (August 4, 2015) – The “Texas Traveler” T.J. Michael earned two more top-ten finishes with the Fremont/Attica Sprint Title “410” Championship Series during the recent weekend, increasing his recent streak to four consecutive. The Plano, Texas native, who calls Fremont, Ohio “home” during the summer months, finished ninth and a career-high second with the F.A.S.T. “410” Championship Series sprint cars last Friday and Saturday. Michael plans to rejoin the northwestern Ohio series for their final weekend of competition on Friday, August 7 and Saturday, August 8.
“What a weekend!” said T.J. Michael, “We’ve been pretty good lately and it feels amazing. It took us a while to get to this point, but it feels great to finally get here. Can’t thank everyone enough who is a part of this deal. We struggled some this year, but we never let that get us down. We’ll finish the F.A.S.T. season this weekend and work to keep our top-ten streak going and hopefully get that first win.”
T.J. Michael, pilot of the Fremont Fence Company, Advanced Cast Stone, Kear’s Speed Shop, Shell Shock, Hinchman Suits, Snap-On, #8M, kicked off the recent weekend with a ninth place finish at the Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio on Friday night, July 31. The “410” rookie charged forward from a 13th starting position to earn his top-ten performance. The Texan visited Attica Raceway Park victory lane once in 2015; scoring a “305” win at the beginning of the season.
Michael continued his weekend on Saturday evening, August 1, at the Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio. The former F.A.S.T. “305” Championship Series main event winner at the Sandusky County Fairgrounds oval finished second on August 1 during Fremont/Attica Sprint Title “410” competition; a season high performance for the high school senior. In fact, Michael finished inside the top-ten during the entire evening program at “The Track That Action Built;” qualifying seventh overall out of 20 competitors, finishing third during heat race action and finishing third during the evening’s dash.
“I think we had the car to beat at Fremont” said Michael, “I showed my line a little early and gave it away. Regardless, we were thrilled. We are building a lot of confidence as a team and that goes further than anything. There are a lot of bigger shows in the area later in the year and we are excited for those to get here.”
T.J. Michael will help the Kistler Racing Products Fremont/Attica Sprint Title “410” Championship Series presented by KS Sales & Service close out their year this Friday, August 7 and Saturday, August 8. F.A.S.T. competitors will visit Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Speedway during their routine travels in northwestern Ohio. Michael will work to increase his top-ten streak, as well as find “410” victory lane for the first time in his young career.
