FREMONT, Ohio (April 5, 2021) – Officially kicking-off the 2021 All Star Circuit of Champions points season, the “Texas Traveler” T.J. Michael and his family-owned Michael Motorsports No. 8M joined “America’s Series” for Attica Raceway Park’s annual Spring Nationals over the weekend, battling 11 other Series full-timers in search of not only a solid jump on the season, but also a $6,000 payday.

Despite a tough final outcome, forced to settle with a 21st-place score after lining up 24th on the A-Main grid, Michael and his team displayed determination and perseverance, using a hard-fought attitude to earn the B-Main’s final transfer position over Nate Dussel and Greg Wilson.

A seventh-place performance during his respective heat race led Michael to the All Star B-Main.

“That wasn’t the end result we were looking for, but we were able to battle back after not transferring through our heat race and get in the show. We didn’t want to leave any points on the table,” Michael said, driver of the Michael Motorsports, Advanced Architectural Stone, Crown Battery, Fremont Fence Company, Pro-Tech Services, Wood Heating and Air Conditioning, Kistler Racing Engines, Elite Wings, Big D’s Pizza, Viva Los Healthy, M&L Graphics, HP Striping and Seal Coating, No. 8M sprint car. “I can’t thank my team enough for all of their hard work, and my partners for giving us the opportunity to race the schedule that we do. We have a long season ahead of us. Things are only going to get better.”

After an upcoming off weekend on April 9-11, T.J. Michael and Michael Motorsports will return to All Star Circuit of Champions competition with a four-race swing through Virginia and Pennsylvania, kicking-things off with a $12,000-to-win blockbuster at Virginia Motor Speedway on Thursday, April 15. The weekend will continue with visits to Williams Grove Speedway, Port Royal Speedway, and Bedford Speedway in consecutive fashion.

Plans for the coming weekend, April 9-11, have yet to be determined.
