FREMONT, Ohio (June 23, 2020) – The ‘Texas Traveler’ T.J. Michael will be busier than ever during the next few weeks, not only setting aim on the entire Ohio Sprint Speedweek schedule featuring the All Star Circuit of Champions, but the Plano, Texas-native will conclude the month of June with three consecutive nights of action, all kicking-off with a visit to Attica Raceway Park on Friday, June 26.

The upcoming weekend will continue on Saturday with a visit to one of three facilities – Fremont Speedway, Wayne County Speedway or Sharon Speedway – concluding the three-day trek on Sunday with a trip to Tri-City Raceway Park in Franklin, Pennsylvania.

If all goes according to plan, Michael and Michael Motorsports will join the All Stars for all nine events on the 2020 Ohio Sprint Speedweek schedule, which will hit high speed on Friday, July 3, at Attica Raceway Park. Speedweek will also feature events at Fremont Speedway on Saturday and Sunday, July 4-5, Wayne County Speedway on Monday, July 6, Brushcreek Motorsports Complex on Wednesday, July 8, Muskingum County Speedway on Thursday, July 9, Portsmouth Raceway Park on Friday, July 10, and Sharon Speedway on Saturday and Sunday, July 11-12.

Speedweek events will award a minimum of $5,000-to-win. Portsmouth Raceway Park’s Dean Knittel Memorial will highlight the week with a $15,554 top prize.

“We’re ready to get this season rolling in the right direction,” T.J. Michael said, driver of the Advanced Architectural Stone/Crown Battery/Fremont Fence Company/Pro-Tech Services/Wood Heating and Air Conditioning/Kear’s Speed Shop/Wings Unlimited/Big D’s Pizza/No. 8M sprint car. “Our goal is to race as much as possible, not only to make up for lost time this spring, but we’re trying to build some rhythm for the last half of the year. To think June is almost over is kinda crazy to think about. We have a lot of goals, and despite all of the lost time, we haven’t lost motivation to accomplish those goals.”

Recent action for Michael and Michael Motorsports include stops at Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Speedway on Friday and Saturday, June 19-20. The Texan, who calls Fremont, Ohio, home during most of the racing season, finished 14th and 12th, respectively. Michael’s 14th-place result at Attica was the product of row 12, persevering after qualifying through the evening’s B-Main.
