Fab Four Racing canceled again on PCTC Night
Jared Miley locks up 2012 Late Model Championship
World of Outlaws Silver Cup on SPEED Saturday at 1:00

Sarver, PA (August 10, 2012) A series of fast moving, but heavy rains washed out Fab Four Racing Friday Night, allowing Jared Miley to lock up the 2012 Precise Racing Products DIRTcar Late Models Track Championship; holding an 82 point lead heading into the final two weeks of Fab Four Racing.  Jared joins his uncle Ben Miley as a track champion; joining Dick & Brian Swartzlander as the only two uncle-nephew track champions.

We joke, of course, about a Pittsburgh Circle Track Club Night curse, but it sure seems to happen quite frequently!  The folks at the PCTC do a great job helping promote and support local racing and will be welcomed to the speedway at a date to be determined later.

If you need an Action Track fix this weekend, the Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup Twin 30s featuring the World of Outlaws will air tomorrow afternoon on SPEED from 1:00-3:00PM.  Set your DVRs or clear your schedule to watch Craig Dollansky and Tony Stewart take the checkered flags in the dual 30 lap features.  You’ll also relive Danny Holtgraver’s rise to super stardom in the first 30-lap feature as he rocketed through the field to score a career best second place finish against the Outlaws after passing mentor and friend Tim Shaffer on the final lap of the first 30-lap A-Main from 19th on the grid.

Speaking of Shaffer and Holtgraver, they, along with Dale Blaney and Ed Lynch Jr. made the ritual pilgrimage to the Mecca of Sprint Car Racing for the Knoxville Nationals!  You can listen to Friday Night’s action of www.DIRTvision.com and Saturday Night’s finale will air on SPEED in the coming weeks!  Good luck to Western PA’s finest against the greatest sprint car drivers in the world!
