Miley will visit Bedford, Port Royal and Eriez during Labor Day weekend triple

PITTSBURGH, Pa. (August 30, 2018) – Chasing a total winner’s share exceeding $12,000, ‘The Jet’ Jared Miley will have his hands full over Labor Day weekend as the Pittsburgh native plans to enter three consecutive super late model events in three days at three Pennsylvania facilities. Miley, who owns seven late model victories thus far in 2018, will visit Bedford Speedway, Port Royal Speedway, and Eriez Speedway, respectively, over the course of the long, holiday weekend, all igniting with action at the big Bedford Fairgrounds half-mile on Friday, August 31.
“We have a lot going on this weekend, but we are ready,” Jared Miley said, driver of the Joe Corrado-owned/Blue Mountain Energy/Penn Star Ventures/Colussy Chevrolet/Jay’s Auto Wrecking/No. 10 super late model. “I have a great group of people who make trips like this possible. Joe Corrado has been behind this effort 100% since the start of our relationship. I’m excited to get out there and battle for big paydays.”
After a visit to Bedford Speedway where Miley will battle for $5,055 during the 31st annual Labor Day Championship, ‘The Jet’ will move on down the highway and make a trip to Central Pennsylvania, set to join the ULMS Racing Series at the Port Royal Speedway ‘Speed Palace’ for the $4,033-to-win Butch Renninger Memorial on September 1. Miley is a recent ULMS Racing Series winner, as well as a former Series champion, clinching the title in 2015.
Miley’s long, holiday weekend will come to a close on Sunday evening, September 2, at the Eriez Speedway just outside of Erie, Pennsylvania. Rejoining the Northeast ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series, Miley will attempt to conclude his three-race schedule with a $3,000 top prize. Already showing success with the Series in 2018, Miley owns two ULTIMATE victories thus far this season, most recently earning the Herb Scott Memorial ($3,000) title at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway.
During recent super late model competition, Jared Miley joined 76 other entrants for the inaugural Dirt Million at Mansfield (Ohio) Motor Speedway on August 24 & 25. Unfortunately, Miley’s weekend at the historic event was cut short, just missing the main event grid by finishing fifth during a loaded B-main.
