Multiple Visits to Williams Grove and Port Royal Highlight Labor Day Plans for Brent Marks
Action Begins Friday During “Jack Gunn Memorial”

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

Myerstown, PA (September 1, 2015) – Brent Marks will spend his Labor Day weekend busier than most, as the Myerstown, Pennsylvania native plans to enter four consecutive events at two of Pennsylvania’s widely known half-mile ovals. Marks will visit Williams Grove Speedway and Port Royal Speedway twice during the upcoming weekend, all beginning Friday night, September 4.

“We are really looking forward to the weekend” said Brent Marks, “We have an opportunity to race four times without having to travel more than two hours from home. We’ll be able to work out of our own shop all weekend and that will play as a big advantage. We want to get a win. There is a lot of money on the line this weekend so this would be a perfect time to get that first ‘W.’”

Brent Marks will visit the famed Williams Grove Speedway on Friday night, September 4, for the 33rd annual “Jack Gunn Memorial” worth $6,000. The pilot of the Brent Marks Racing, BAPS Auto Paint & Supplies, Creekside Auto Sales, Fredericksburg Eagle Hotel, Diamond Toyota, Russell Heller Builders, #19M finished seventh during his most recent appearance at the paperclip on Friday, August 28. The “Myerstown Missile” is currently sixth in the track championship standings despite missing select events. Marks will make his second Williams Grove Speedway visit of the upcoming weekend on Sunday evening, September 6, for the annual “Billy Kimmel Memorial” worth $3,800.

“BMR” will make their way to the “Speed Palace” at Port Royal Speedway for the first of two upcoming appearances on Saturday evening, September 5. The “410” sprinters will join the UFO Super Late Models for a high horsepower doubleheader on Saturday, with $3,200 up for grabs for the “410” sprint cars. The holiday weekend will conclude for Brent Marks Racing on Labor Day – Monday afternoon, September 7, with the 64th annual “Labor Day Classic” worth $4,000. Marks finished 4th during the 2014 edition of the “Labor Day Classic” at Port Royal after starting on the front row.

“The weekend has potential to be great for our team” said Brent Marks, “We’ve been working hard all season long. My crew dedicates a lot of time and effort into this program. I will work as hard as I can to earn them a win.”
