Chase Dietz Preps for Four Races During Labor Day Weekend
Earns Another “358” Podium at Williams Grove

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

York, PA (September 1, 2015) – Labor Day weekend is set to be action packed for York, Pennsylvania’s Chase Dietz. The open wheel rising star will enter four separate central Pennsylvania programs during the long weekend, beginning Friday evening, September 4, at Williams Grove Speedway. The 33rd annual “Jack Gunn Memorial” will highlight action at “The Grove” on Friday night, with $6,000 on the line after 30 laps of feature action. The evening will hand out a total purse nearing $30,000.

“Really excited for the opportunity to race four nights in a row” said Chase Dietz, “We have a lot to prepare for, but we are up for the challenge. I just want to thank both of my car owners for giving me this opportunity. I’ve been fortunate enough to have some success in both divisions this season. Hopefully we can start the weekend on a good note on Friday and carry that through Sunday.”

On Saturday, September 5, Chase Dietz and the Scott Gobrecht, Golf Cart Services, Bad Boy Buggies, ServiceMaster Clean Janitorial Service of York and Lancaster, Gettysburg Rental Company, #44 team will visit Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania. The “J.L. Howard Memorial” is on tap in the Pigeon Hills. Dietz is a recent “410” winner at the “Fabulous” Lincoln Speedway and currently finds himself 11th in the championship standings. The September 5 program will be the last points event of the 2015 season.

Chase Dietz will make his lone “358” start of the upcoming weekend on Sunday evening, September 6, back at the Williams Grove Speedway. Dietz will jump back behind the wheel of the Troy Godfrey, Godfrey Racing Engines, #5 on Sunday night, hunting for his third “358” feature victory at “The Grove” in 2015. The 2014 Lincoln Speedway “358” champ finished third during his last appearance at Williams Grove Speedway on August 28; climbing forward from an 11th starting position. Dietz welcomed Mark’s Automotive as the evening sponsor last Friday night; helping Godfrey Racing donate a large portion towards United Way of York. Their pursuit to help local charities will continue for the rest of the season.

The upcoming holiday weekend will conclude on Monday afternoon, September 7, during Port Royal Speedway’s 64th running of the “Labor Day Classic” presented by Foss Jewelers. The $4,000-to-win event will utilize a 1:00PM start time on Labor Day, with the Juniata County Fair running simultaneously. It will be Chase Dietz’s first ever “Labor Day Classic” appearance.

“A lot on the line during the entire weekend” said Dietz, “Some of the longest running races in central Pennsylvania are scheduled during Labor Day weekend and I am more than excited to be a part of it. Both of my race teams have a lot of confidence moving into the weekend and that puts us in a good position before anything even starts. We’ll work for solid finishes every night.”
