HANOVER, Pa. (January 30, 2024) – Although Hanover’s JJ Loss is far from a rookie by definition, the 2024 season will certainly entertain a new hurdle, as the 16-year-old is set to embark on his first full season in Pennsylvania Posse Country, joining a competitive class of 410 sprint car aces with primary focus on Lincoln Speedway, BAPS Motor Speedway, and select starts at the nearby Williams Grove Speedway. If all goes according to plan, Loss will also take part in select World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series and High Limit Sprint Car Series starts, making his official World of Outlaws debut at the “Fabulous” Lincoln Speedway.

Loss, wheelman of the Next Level Signs & Graphics, Your Hometown Agents – Colby Jacobs & Neil Reichart Team, Diversified Cuts, Wolf’s Plumbing LLC, No. 67 sprint car, will activate his first, full agenda with Lincoln Speedway’s annual Icebreaker, set to takeover headlines in the Pigeon Hills on Saturday and Sunday, February 24-25.

Formally a one-day program, the now “Icebreaker Weekend” will include two, full shows, each of which awarding a $5,000 top prize.

“It’s going to be an exciting year and we’re ready to get started,” JJ Loss said. “I want to thank my family, first and foremost. They sacrifice so much to make my racing dream a reality, and I wouldn’t be in this position without them. We have a lot of great partners and a really supportive fanbase. I’m confident only big things are ahead for us.”

Before on-track action commences, “The Boss” and JKL Racing will debut their newly wrapped machine in the two-day Racing Xtravaganza at York Fairgrounds’ UPMC Arena on Friday and Saturday, February 2-3. Not stopping there, the team will also be on display in the annual Motorama in Harrisburg’s Farm Show Complex on Saturday and Sunday, February 17-18 – a key exhibit in John Krall’s “Dirt Display.”

Not only will the car be featured in the aforementioned shows, but all-new JJ Loss merchandise will also be for sale including apparel, headwear, and other accessories.

“We’re going to race as much as we can,” Loss added. “The only thing really holding us back from a more aggressive schedule is our motor situation. We hope to get another motor later in the year, but for now we’re going to be smart with what we have and hopefully put up big results.”
