Elida, Ohio (July 29th, 2015) – After earning back-to-back podium finishes with the K&L Ready Mix NRA Sprint Invaders last Friday and Saturday, Elida, Ohio’s Max Stambaugh will rejoin the Ohio-based “360” sprint car series for another doubleheader weekend this Friday and Saturday. Stambaugh, a two-time main event winner with the NRA Sprint Invaders in 2015 and the current series point leader, will visit the Limaland Motorsports Park and Montpelier Motor Speedway this Friday and Saturday. It will be the last doubleheader weekend of the 2015 NRA Sprint Invaders season, with the series finale scheduled at Limaland for Friday night, August 7th. “Mad Max” is hunting for a career-first NRA title.
“Not a lot of races left so we want to stay on top of things” said Stambaugh, “We’ve been consistent while earning a few wins. Our consistency will help us win the NRA title, we just need to keep our nose clean and stay out of trouble. We’ll work for another win this weekend and hopefully take a little pressure off of us heading into the finale.”
Max Stambaugh’s upcoming weekend will begin with NRA “360” Sprint Invaders competition on Friday night, July 31st, at the Limaland Motorsports Park in Lima, Ohio. The series will move ahead to the Montpelier Motor Speedway in Montpelier, Indiana on Saturday evening, August 1st. The Saturday night program will feature the second edition of “Border Wars” with the NRA Sprint Invaders battling the “360” stars of Sprints on Dirt.
“Mad Max,” pilot of the Specialized Therapy, Biggies Coast to Coast, Triple JJJ, Tim Hogan’s Carpet, Texas Roadhouse, Dale’s Concrete, K & L Ready Mix, Robb Avenue Body Shop, Radio Hospital, #6M “360” sprinter, will enter the weekend not only with confidence, but also momentum; scoring two consecutive top-three NRA finishes. Stambaugh finished 3rd during main event action at the Limaland bullring on Friday night, July 24th, followed by a runner-up performance on Saturday, July 25th, at the Waynesfield Raceway Park in Waynesfield, Ohio.
“We are really confident heading into the last three NRA races” explained Stambaugh, “We still have to be smart, but we are confident that we can get the job done. I just want to thank everyone who has been a part of this ‘6M’ team this year. They are a dedicated group of people who make everything possible.”
