Northwestern Ohio native, Travis Philo, may be making a Fremont Speedway appearance in Fremont, Ohio, this Saturday, October 8th. The 5T program plans on participating in the ‘Season Championship Night’ at Fremont this weekend – only if everything is sound with their motor program. Philo had some motor issues at Eldora last time out, and plans to have everything checked over before making any decisions concerning this weekend.
After Saturday night’s possible Fremont appearance, the team plans to pack up and head back to Western Pennsylvania for next Saturday night’s 410 sprint car event at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway; bypassing Fremont’s World of Outlaws program. The World of Outlaws will be visiting Fremont Speedway next Saturday, October 15, for the first time in many years.
Fremont’s current point situation stands as being more than just competitive; as the top three drivers are separated by a mere 16 points. The 2011 FAST Champion, Bryan Sebetto, holds the current Fremont Speedway point lead by 5 markers over former FAST Champion, Byron Reed. Dean Jacobs rounds out the top three- just 16 markers behind Sebetto.
