Pittsburgh, PA – (9/18/2012) – Evan City, Pennsylvania native and Team Fully Injected ‘410’ sprint car competitor, Brandon Spithaler, finished 3rd on Saturday evening, September 15th, at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway near Imperial, Pennsylvania. The ‘410’ sprint cars were featured at the annual ‘Tri-Star Pittsburgher’ weekend event again in 2012; highlighted with a 21 lap, $3,000-to-win main event for the super sprinters. Spithaler, a sprint car feature winner this season at Mercer Raceway Park, finished third in his respective heat race at Pittsburgh on Saturday afternoon, before earning another podium finish during the 21 lap – BlackJack 21 – main event later that evening. Jack Sodeman, Jr. was the $3,000 winner on Saturday night; with Apollo, PA native, Ed Lynch, Jr., finishing in the runner-up position. Spithaler now has two consecutive third place finishes at ‘Dirt’s Monster Half-Mile’ in 2012; earning the first during the ‘Red Miley Rumble’ in mid-August.
