Pittsburgh, PA (9/18/2012) – Team Fully Injected crate late model stars, Joe Martin (55) and Colton Flinner (75), are shown above in a heated battle during the annual ‘Tri-Star Pittsburgher’ FASTRAK/Pro Late Model main event at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway on Saturday evening, September 15th. Both drivers finished on the podium at the conclusion of the 40 lap, $2,500-to-win main event; with Joe Martin snagging the runner-up finish over Colton Flinner who rounded out the top three. Flinner is the 2011 and 2012 Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway FASTRAK/Pro Late Model track champion, and is also a one-time winner at ‘Dirt’s Monster Half-Mile’ this season. Martin, a former FASTRAK Northeast Touring Series full-time competitor, has multiple crate late model wins in 2012; including a victory during weekly competition at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway. Kyle Lukon was the $2,500 FASTRAK/Pro Late Model winner on Saturday evening during the ‘Tri-Star Pittsburgher.’ 

Joe Martin will be back in action this Friday and Saturday, September 21st & 22nd, at McKean County Raceway in East Smethport, Pennsylvania for two complete nights of competition for the crate late models. The Ringgold, Pennsylvania native will venture north this weekend to McKean County Raceway’s annual ‘Fall Classic’ worth $2,700 for the FASTRAK late models. Friday night’s 25 lap, crate late model main event winner will be awarded $1,200; with Saturday night’s ‘Fall Classic’ FASTRAK winner being awarded $1,500 for their efforts. The region’s top FASTRAK late model teams are expected to be in attendance this Friday and Saturday evening; all vying for a shot at a ‘Fall Classic’ championship. Saturday night’s format will be sanctioned by the FASTRAK Northeast Touring Series. Martin has one win with the series in 2012. 

Colton Flinner, an Allison Park, Pennsylvania native and recent Hampton High School graduate, will be back in action this Saturday night, September 22nd, at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway for a regular night of racing. Flinner will look to secure his second win of the season this Saturday night at ‘Dirt’s Monster Half-Mile.’
