York, PA – 8/13/12] York, Pennsylvania native and weekly competitor in ‘410’ sprint car competition, Cory Haas, will try his luck twice this Friday night at Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania; as the legendary facility is hosting it’s annual Twin 20’s format for the ‘410’ sprinters. Two, 20-lap main events will be conducted Friday night, August 17th, instead of it’s usual format; guaranteeing the winner of each feature $2,500! The evening program will also include qualifying time trials. Haas has never won a Williams Grove Speedway main event during the Twin 20’s program, but will look to change that statistic this Friday night by sweeping the historic event. The program has only ever been swept twice since it became a regular attraction at Williams Grove Speedway in 1983.

 The former multi-time Williams Grove Speedway ‘358’ sprint car track champion currently sits 14th in the Williams Grove Speedway ‘410’ driver standings enter this weekend’s event. Haas also finds himself inside the top 10 of the Central Pennsylvania sprint car standings.
