Allison Park, PA (May 1st, 2013) – Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway will host it’s first 7:00PM program of the 2013 season this Saturday evening, May 4th; complete with a full lineup of weekly divisions including the crate powered RUSH Pro Late Models. Colton Flinner, a former two-time FASTRAK Pro Late Model Track Champion at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway, will be back in action at ‘Dirt’s Monster Half Mile’ this Saturday night to help celebrate the facility’s first program ‘under the lights.’ The RUSH Pro Late Model division, which replaced FASTRAK as the weekly sanctioning body for the crate late models at ‘PPMS,’ boasts a very strong roster of not only local talent, but regional talent; including Allison Park’s Colton Flinner. Flinner has yet to win at main event during the 2013 season, but hopes to do so ‘under the lights’ this Saturday night at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway. Gates are set to open at 5:00PM on Saturday evening, May 4th at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway; with racing slated to begin at 7:00PM. For more information, please take the time to visit ‘PPMS’ online at www.ppms.com.

“We had some other plans lined up for this weekend but we made some last minute changes” said Colton Flinner, “We wanted to head to Georgia again for a big FASTRAK event, but we decided to head to Pittsburgh instead…we are still trying to figure some things out as a team…we have been having a lot of bad luck with pill draws lately as well…hopefully staying close to home this weekend will allow us to build some momentum, and hopefully earn our first win.”

On Sunday evening, May 5th, Colton Flinner and his American Framers, Vox Energy, A.W. Beattie Career Center, no. 75 crate late model team have potential plans to head north to the Eriez Speedway in Erie, Pennsylvania for their ‘opening night’ program presented by Coors Light. The crate powered FASTRAK Pro Late Models are a part of weekly competition each and every Sunday night the Erie oval; co-headlining with the ever popular super late models. Colton Flinner has only ever been in action once at the Eriez Speedway; resulting in a fifteenth (15th) place finish during a FASTRAK Sweeney Cars Northeast Touring Division event. Gates are scheduled to open 4:00PM at Eriez Speedway on Sunday, May 5th; with racing slated to begin at 5:30PM. For more information, please check out the speedway online at www.eriez-speedway.com.

“Eriez is the plan for Sunday as of now” explained Flinner, “We haven’t been there in a while and our last visit wasn’t very good for us…there are a lot of big shows coming up in the next few weeks so hopefully we can work the bugs out this weekend and get ourselves ready…I can’t thank all of my supporters and sponsors enough…everyone that is behind this team works really hard and I appreciate that so much…hopefully I can repay the favor and earn them a win!”
