Quick Review/Full Results: Dean Jacobs Earns F.A.S.T. Victory at Attica Raceway Park During Night #3 of 2015 Season

Attica, OH (May 1st, 2015) – It took nine rounds to get a repeat F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series winner in 2014; it took only three rounds in 2015. Dean Jacobs earned the Kistler Racing Products Fremont/Attica Sprint Title ‘410’ Championship Series presented by KS Sales & Service Night #3 victory at the Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio on Friday, May 1st; surviving four cautions and heavy lapped traffic to earn his second F.A.S.T. victory of 2015. Jacobs, who started third on the evening grid, took command of the 30-lap main event on a lap one restart and never looked back. Former F.A.S.T. champion Craig Mintz would rally from sixth to finish second, with ninth place starter D.J. Foos rounding out the podium finishers.
Defending F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series title winner Byron Reed finished fourth during the 30-lap main event after starting seventh; ‘410’ rookie Nate Dussel completed the top-five.
Dean Jacobs has been most dominate during F.A.S.T. competition in 2015; winning two of three feature events as well as three straight heat races. Jacobs opened the 2015 F.A.S.T. season with a victory on Friday, April 17th at Attica Raceway Park.
There were 27 Kistler Racing Products Fremont/Attica Sprint Title ‘410’ Championship Series presented by KS Sales & Service sprint cars entered for competition at Attica on May 1st. D.J. Foos, Cap Henry and Gary Taylor each recorded ‘fast time’ during F.A.S.T. group qualifying; with each car qualifying with cars in their respective heat race. Deans Jacobs, Byron Reed and Jimmy Light each earned heat race victories during preliminary action. Stuart Brubaker ran away with the evening’s B-main ending all preliminary action.
