Race officials announce tire rule for Buckeye 100 and inclement weather policy/procedure.
By Ryan Pearson

Orrville, Ohio (April 4, 2013) NAPA Auto Parts Promoter Jason Flory and World of Outlaw Late Model Series Director Tim Christman recently met and are set to announce tire rule for the upcoming highly anticipated Buckeye 100 featuring the World of Outlaw Late Models.

“With the economy in mind Tim and I decided to implement a tire rule for the Buckeye 100. We feel this will benefit everyone not just the local racer” stated Flory. “We are really excited and have been working hard in preparation for the season. This is one additional thing we felt was needed to be done to help everyone” Flory continued.

For the Buckeye 100 the only tires permitted must durometer forty (40) points or harder. This rule is in effect for all four tires, both front and rears. The aforementioned policy is in line with NAPA Auto Parts Wayne County Speedway weekly tire rule.

In case of inclement weather and the Friday night portion is cancelled the race will then be ran as a one day show featuring the World of Outlaw Late Models with racers going for twelve thousand dollars ($12,000.00) to win. In case this policy is needed the general admission gate price will be thirty dollars ($30.00) and pit gate admission being forty five dollars ($45.00). Children admission prices remain the same with ages six through twelve general admission being fifteen ($15). For the presale two day package the difference will be refunded to those ticket holders. If both days are cancelled then a full refund will be issued to the presale ticket holders.

“We don’t want to think of this as an option but we do need to be prepared incase Mother Nature does not cooperate with the running of the Buckeye 100” said Flory. “This is the typical policy of the World of Outlaw Late Models and we feel this does offer a viable option incase its needed” Flory continued.

Fans can assure themselves prime seating in Wayne County’s grandstand for the Buckeye 100. The advance tickets – priced at $50 for adults and $15 for children ages 6-12 – can be purchased using a credit card (with a 3% service charge) by calling the track office at 330-465-2365 or e-mailing Kristin Flory at Kristinu2@yahoo.com.
