Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex Joins the National Dirt Racing League Mini-Series

Pittsburgh, PA (January 22, 2013) The National Dirt Racing League has completed their 2013 schedule with the addition of the ‘Let’s Get Dirty 75’ at Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex in Markleysburg, PA on Monday, September 2, putting an exclamation point on a huge Labor Day weekend full of blockbuster events in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex, located just off Route 40 in the heart of the Laurel Highlands, will host the NDRL during its inaugural season with a $20,000 to-win, $1,500 to-start, 75 lap feature event. Roaring Knob adds to an impressive 2013 schedule that already includes numerous super late model touring series events as well as a recently announced winged sprint car event.
‘Roaring Knob has become a household name in the world of late model racing the past few years,’ NDRL owner John Kennedy stated, ‘and we’re very enthused to become a part of that growing reputation that Promoter Rick Jones has built at Roaring Knob. The unique layout of the track and facility will provide a wonderful experience for both fans and drivers new to the facility.’

‘We were looking for somewhere in the Ohio, Pennsylvania, or West Virginia region to give racers that will be in the surrounding areas another place to race that weekend,’ said NDRL President Jason Shank. ‘Roaring Knob has provided fans with fantastic events the past few years and we look forward to bringing another action packed event to the picturesque 3/8 mile oval.’

Further details on the huge $20,000 to-win ‘Let’s Get Dirty 75’ at Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex, including support divisions, will be announced soon.

Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex is located near Marleysburg, PA just off of scenic Route 40 on Fearer Road, seven miles east of Nemacolin Woodlands on the right, one mile west of Yough Lake on the left.
